The Hornets are two from two and currently top the table, whilst Whitehaven are one from two, having recorded an impressive 20-4 victory over Keighley Cougars in Round 2, and fallen short to Swinton in their season opener.
It’s 400+ mile trip for Newcastle Thunder, as they pay a visit to Cornwall in Round 3. Their matches in 2024 saw two high-scoring affairs, but who will claim their first win of the 2025 season?
Can Keighley Cougars record their first victory of the campaign this Sunday? They have a tough test when they welcome Midlands Hurricanes to Cougar Park, but, interestingly, it’s a place where the Hurricanes are yet to register a victory.
Keighley have won their last six meetings with Midlands, including their recent 1895 Cup match, with just a single drop goal separating the sides. Will it be another close contest?
